The Baltimore Ravens agreed to a two year contract worth $7 million with free agent wide receiver Jacoby Jones earlier this week. The 27 year old Jones comes to Baltimore after playing five seasons with the Houston Texans.

Even as defensive lineman Anthony Hargrove was appealing his NFL suspension Monday for participating in the Saints’ bounty program, it was learned that a signed document was received by the league through the NFLPA that details how he was instructed in 2010 by current and former New Orleans assistant coaches Joe Vitt and Gregg Williams to deny the team had a bounty program.

(Reuters) – Terrell Suggs will need surgery to repair a partial tear of his Achilles but expects to return midway through the 2012 National Football League (NFL) season, the reigning defensive player of the year said on Thursday.
